Job description
The Role
This is a predominently home based role, with the need to attend team meetings every few months.
You’ll be joining our in-house recruitment team at an exciting time, as we implement a brand new HR system. Your focus will be to use that technology to support the Recruitment Leads in providing a pipeline of new starters, to ensure our services have sufficient staff to meet the needs of our valued elderly residents.
You’ll ensure our candidates are regularly contacted throughout their on-boarding, to ensure a supportive and engaging experience. You’ll also have an eye for detail and process, by ensuring that candidate right to work, criminality, and identity and reference documentation are obtained, checked, verified and stored.
You’ll also know the benefit of getting workers in quickly; by making sure that time to hire is minimised, whilst not compromising on the thoroughness of pre-employment checks. You’ll also cover for the Recruitment Leads, enabling you to get involved in wider aspects of resourcing, to help you develop and grow.
About You
You must already have significant experience in a recruitment administration role managing multiple end to end recruitment campaigns and on-boarding large volumes of successful hires simultaneously. You’ll be able to prove how to on-board candidates quickly, whilst ensuring full compliance with process. You'll also be well versed in knowing what documentation to obtain to prove identity and right to work.
Experienced working on HR and applicant tracking systems to manage candidate pipelines, you’ll be highly organised and methodical, and able to prioritise your own work. Further, you’ll have great attention to detail, able to spot errors in data, and ensure nothing slips through the net.
Building relationships with candidates is key, so you must also have well developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of candidates. Experience in recruitment in the health and social care sector would be an advantage. And ideally you’ll have a foundation level (L3) HR certificate or diploma qualification, or willingness to study for one.
Finally, you'll need good broadband connectivity to work at home, and a quiet work space enabling you to work productively and without interrruptions.
