We have an excellent opportunity to join our On-Board Catering Team based at Norwich Station.
The Role
The Key Focus of this role is the retailing of Food and Drink On-Board our trains between Norwich and Liverpool Street from either the Cafe Bar or via an At-Seat Trolley Service. You will use your skills to drive sales and provide a high level of Customer Service as part on an On-Board Team and in addition to service duties will include providing information and assistance to passengers and some light cleaning duties.
This position will require you to work a combination of early starts, late finishes, and weekends.
The suitable candidate must be able to get to the early shifts by their own means of transport. The role entails an average of 35 hours per week.
Full uniform will be provided, to ensure that you embrace our values and brand as a business.
Published Salary is a starting point, with salary increases every 6 months over a 2 year period to the full rate of £21,636.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a colleague who has a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude. The ideal candidate should be pro-active and friendly when dealing with our customers. This role can be physically demanding, and applicants will need to be able to move a trolley through the train.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role. This role will require you to remain calm under pressure whilst maintaining integrity at all times.
Experience in a Customer Service environment is desirable however full training will be provided.
