Working pattern/flexible working - We know flexible working is important to you, and it is important to us too. The Partnership has adopted a blended working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The UI team aims for around 1 day a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this. The role is based at our Victoria campus.
Salary range - The salary range for this role is set at £47,700-£69,900
Contract type - This is a permanent position.
About the role:
This is a real opportunity for you to experience at first hand how your work can transform John Lewis customer experience to become Omnichannel. We are looking for a UI Designer with native app experience to join our team.
The Omnichannel Design team is at the forefront of transforming one of the nation's favourite retailers. We are working together to redefine what it means to shop, connecting stores and online into a truly omnichannel experience. As a part of the Omnichannel Design team you will get the chance to shape the customer experience across multiple touchpoints, working together with Experience Designers, Service Designers, Store Concept Designers and many more to transform John Lewis.

Essential skills you’ll need
You are a multi-skilled, flexible and experienced UI specialist, with proven experience in Native Apps
You can demonstrate working collaboratively to meet customer and business goals from concept to finished product
You’ve worked in Agile as part of an efficient and multi-disciplined delivery team
You’re able to design both short-term test and learn prototypes and scale up to robust long term solutions
Collaborating with UX colleagues, you will be brainstorming concepts, freehand sketching, low-fi and high-fi rapid prototyping to shape user-centred design solutions which can be tested with customers at pace
You create beautiful digital experiences that are accessible, intuitive, consistent and delightful. You are proud to be pixel perfect and attention to detail is part of your DNA
Being a UI component expert, you will be collaborating with other designers to create accurate responsive template mockups and working with the development team to realise designs including interactive states and motion/ animation
You’ve worked with a design system, know how to work with it creatively and proficient in Figma
