NORWICH
THE PROJECT
We are one of the Delivery Integration Partners (DIP) on the Regional Delivery Partnership Framework (RDP) with National Highways and have been awarded multiple schemes along the A47 running from Peterborough to Norfolk with a combined construction value of over £250m.
Our Blofield to North Burlingham scheme has recently been approved by the Secretary of State. Work will soon start to construct a new dual carriageway on this 4km stretch of road and install two new junctions as part of the planned improvements, all delivered in partnership with National Highways and SWECO.
YOUR ROLE
As Office Manager you will undertake a varied and all-encompassing role on the project providing an office environment that enable the team to flourish.
You will:
- Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment
- Manage the project procurement process for supplies in line with the divisional processes and commercial best practice.
- Manage visitors to site and arrange briefings and company personnel as guides.
- General day to day management of the offices ensuring standards of cleanliness are maintained, meeting rooms and facilities are controlled, and office supplies are maintained as required.
- Build long term relationships with Clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders
- To assist the Project Manager in implementing initiatives on site such as FREDIE
- Ensure the timely reporting of information in line with internal company and external client requirements
- Ensure safety regulations, inspections and testing are carried out at Project Offices (eg PAT testing, Fire Drills and Inspections)
- Assist where required in the engagement with the public and local stakeholders through drop in sessions, open days, newsletters and school visits
- Establish and manage the projects complaints and compliments procedure and reporting
- To work in compliance with the current safety legislation and the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
- To participate in the Challenging Beliefs Affecting Behaviours initiative
- Ensure the site fulfils all obligations for external compliance audits.
- Identify or assist in the introduction new processes, techniques and innovations on site
- Manage stationary, IT and other office consumables for the project
- Manage Wellbeing, Health Surveillance and other Group initiatives within the project team.
YOU
We are looking for passion and a willingness to deliver excellence. If you have a solid experience working as an office manager in a project capacity and can tick off the requirements below we’d love to hear from you.
- IT Skills e.g. Office 365, MS Teams
- Experience in a public facing role
- Knowledge of safety, environmental and quality management processes for offices
- Knowledge of commercial and procurement processes including Oracle
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload
