Job description
T3 Engineering Consultants is looking for an enthusiastic part-time Office Manager and Bookkeeper to provide admin support for our small, friendly team in St Neots town centre. We have established and straightforward processes to invoice clients and keep records, and need someone to keep everything up to date.
The role is office based and part time (20-25 hours per week) spread over 3-5 days per week within normal office hours. The exact schedule can be flexible depending on your preferences and other commitments. We will pay between £12 and £15 per hour for thi role depending on relevant experience
Responsibilities:
- Invoicing clients and contacting clients with overdue payments
- Collecting time sheets and expenses claims
- Updating Excel spreadsheets with records for accountants (income & expenses, for end of year accounts and quarterly VAT returns based on invoices and bank statements)
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Updating company and staff records
- Ordering office supplies
- Supporting the team with other admin tasks
Skills:
- Well-organized with good time management and attention to detail
- Basic bookkeeping skills (updating payment records in Excel)
- Good communication and customer service skills
Previous office experience is preferred and some experience of bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation or other admin would be a significant advantage.
T3ec is a small but growing structural engineering firm designing buildings for a mixture of large UK companies and local homeowners. No previous experience of engineering or construction is expected for this role.
