Office Manager (Soft Services/Help Desk)
Quantum Care a leading organization in the care industry with 22 homes around Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex is seeking to recruit a new Office Manager to join the Facilities team.
The Role:
As an Office Manager you will support the Head of Facilities in the day to day running of the department for soft services and helpdesk services.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Facilities to lead and manage the facilities office providing professional helpdesk operations.
- To support Head of Facilities with soft service functions i.e. furnishing, decoration, flooring etc. and support on minor projects, proposed works and similar.
- Build on-going maintenance: hierarchy, standard working docs, contractors list, homes, home contacts and SLAs
- Assist with onsite (Head Office) training, upgrade implementations and provide guidance for the Facilities Office/ Helpdesk team.
- To line manage the facilities office team, which includes reception, purchase assistant and facilities help desk team and provide induction training to new staff, mainly operations management team.
- Manage the daily operations of all office services, reception, purchasing assistant and engineering/decoration teams, including line management of the office and reception staff and to ensure the office is always covered.
- Provide training plan/ structure for new office/facilities employees.
- Lead on contractor and asset management in addition to the administrative/financial control aspect of all facilities work.
