Main Purpose of the Job:
Key Account Management - To manage all allocated key accounts
Sales Development - To liaise with the Sales Office Manager in managing the development of existing sales and new opportunities
Handling Enquiries – Overseeing and Managing all sales opportunities from enquiry to completed order
Sales Order Processing – Efficient management of customer orders. Processing all quotations and sales orders
Sales and Office Administration – Manage staff ensuring that they adhere to sales office processes and administration
Main Responsibilities: Key Account Management
Oversee and manage the relationship and enquires off nominated key accounts and customers ensuring that terms are set correctly and that high service levels are maintained.
Main Responsibilities: Sales Development
To work closely with the Sales Office Manager in proactively developing the existing customer base spend.
Work on the development and engagement of new customers to develop and maintain their spend with the business.
To work with the Sales Office Manager in increasing the net spend of zero and low spend accounts.
To ensure sales targets are achieved.
Main Responsibilities: Handling Enquiries
Respond to all telephone and email enquiries within same day
Manage account and key account enquiries
Follow up enquiries to ensure they have been closed
Raise, enter and follow up quotations for new enquiries
Main Responsibilities: Sales Order Processing
Follow new accounts opening procedure
Ensure accurate and prompt handling and entering of customer quotations
Ensure accurate and prompt handling and entering of sales orders
Manage customer call off request for existing customers
Liaise with Branch Managers to ensure customers are contacted for late or incomplete deliveries
Liaise with external sales regarding new and outstanding quotes and orders
Main Responsibilities: Sales and Office Administration
Inputting all data and updating records on the CRM system including full customer contact details to include e mail, address and phone numbers.
Ensure all quotations and sales orders are entered accurately and promptly
All paperwork is filed up to date
Handling customer requests
Weekly sales activity update/wins and losses
Ensure that Business Development Coordinators are adhering to the Sales Office processes.
Measures of Success (Key Performance Indicators)
Weekly sales activity reports
Monthly sales reports for sales meetings

Sales driven, with the ability to develop new business relationships
Customer driven, with the ability to develop relationships with all Accounts and Key Accounts within all branches of the Company, with all types of customer (both internal and external)
An approachable manner and good communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Effective decision-making skills
A willingness to work flexibly
Ability to manage and develop own case loads
Ability to oversee and manage caseloads of other staff.

Salary: From £35,000.00 per year
