You will be required to process documentation pertaining to freight and mail by clerical and computerized methods in accordance with Company procedures, and Governmental regulations. Full compliance with Company Security and H&S policies is mandatory
Total starter package £28,541.53
Total package after successful 6 months probation passed: £32,343.09
Candidate requirements
- Ensure the accurate processing of documentation in all areas in accordance with operational procedures, handling briefs, and Customers' Service Level Agreements, including special handling e.g. HUM, DGR, VUN, VAL, Radioactive material.
- Ensure final figures are sent as per SLA
- Perform all aspects of the day-to-day clerical operation and achieve a high level of service and productivity.
- Liaise with clerical Supervisors to ensure fully informed.
- Carry out Dangerous Goods checks and adhere to IATA and carrier regulations.
- Deliver a high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Manage irregularities via Hermes Service Management and Service Recovery.
- Ensure all irregularities are reported via IRP messages where required.
- Liaise with customers face-to-face or via telephone, fax, and e mail.
- Perform Reception duties including adherence to CAA regulations.
- Process transhipments including obtaining onward bookings and security clearance.
- Process imports and export flights including issuance of NOTOC of required pre-advice.
- Liaise effectively with carrier and other handling agents.
- Liaise effectively with warehouse staff on build and break requirements.
- Adopt a proactive work ethic, planning to anticipate and prevent handling issues.
- Fully comply with all Company Regulations including Security and Health and Safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have AVSEC Security Level CO (old Level D) certification or higher.
- Must have extensive cargo experience.
- Must have excellent practical knowledge of Hermes.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively imperative.
- Ability to work effectively & efficiently to tight & flexible deadlines essential.
