Role Purpose: Khalsa Aid is seeking a highly motivated Office Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our UK office in Taplow. This person will take responsibility for all administrative office duties and act as the first point of contact for visitors, volunteers, donors and other stakeholders, maintaining the organisation’s positive and professional image.
Objectives:
Personal Assistant to CEO to schedule his meetings, draft meeting minutes, arrange transport and other ad-hoc tasks.
Draft letters, standard reports and presentations.
Provide administrative support to our Operations team, including booking travel, accommodation, insurance compliance and pre-travel documentation.
Respond in a professional manner to day-to-day enquiries via telephone and email.
Update and monitor administrative tools and templates on the organisation’s systems.
Main point of contact for all company correspondence via telephone, email and office guests.
Skills & Experience Required
Five years of proven experience in the same or a similar role
Ability to understand the Punjabi language is a necessity
Strong communication skills, with exceptional English written skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
Attention to detail and ability to take a problem-solving approach to work
Right to work in the UK
