Job description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – including but not limited to:
- Review invoices for proper coding and authorization in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Process vendor invoices into ERP / accounting system on a timely basis
- Handle vendor inquiries regarding payment issues
- Process cash disbursements to vendors and expense reimbursements to employees on a regular basis
- Post to general ledger and assist in month-end closing
- Detailed GL Account Analysis
- Answer & Route telephone calls
- Greet customers and vendors
- Prepare daily bank deposits
- Open & Route mail accordingly
- Maintain Customer & Vendor files
- Manage & maintain office supplies
- Regular communication with Management
- Duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Self-Motivated and able to be productive with minimal supervision.
- Must be positive and well organized
- Possess excellent customer service, verbal, written and telephone communications
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to interface with all levels of management
- Must be a team player and take direction well
- Proficient with Excel/MS Office suite
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or GED; Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Previous Accounting Experience required
