An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant to join the Facilities team.
This is an entry level role that would be suited to an individual wanting to learn and develop skills in an office-based environment.
The Office Assistants work closely with the facilities coordinator, post team and reception to ensure the smooth running of the Cardiff office.
The role involves:
- Photocopying, scanning and binding
- Collecting post from the working floors for franking
- Distributing internal and external mail
- Checking stock and ordering stationery, delivering this to employees as and when requested
- Checking stock of tea-point supplies and replenishing these on each floor regularly
- Topping up printers with paper and ink
- Daily banking (including walking off-site to local banks to deposit cheques and/or cash)
No experience is necessary as full training will be given. The successful applicant will have achieved good GCSE qualifications.
Organisation and teamwork are paramount to this role as well as a willingness to learn new skills.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A uniform is provided for this role.
