Job description

We are looking for a bright, hardworking and ambitious Office Assistant to join our property investment business based in Bromley.

The successful candidate should possess great verbal and written communication skills, some experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and have a strong desire to learn new skills. They will provide administration support to the established team as well as cover all reception/ facilities duties.

The role includes…

Answering all telephone calls, taking accurate messages and ensuring they’re dealt with.

Meet and greet visitors.

Managing meeting room bookings.

Preparing meeting rooms, including serving refreshments, printing and distributing documents, and setting up video calls.

Receive, date and distribute any post

Assisting the team with any administration required, including filing, shredding, post.

Typing emails to clients, contractors and suppliers.

Sourcing items for the office, projects and the team.

Ad hoc errands for the team, including the Managing Director.

Regular ordering of office sundries, senior management lunches and any meeting refreshments.

Ordering and auditing stationary supplies, ensuring the best prices are secured.

Monitoring the cleaning and overall building standards and reporting issues to management

Assist with arranging and monitoring maintenance jobs within the building

Liaising with cleaning contractors to ensure high standards are maintained, reporting any issues

Proactive in looking to solve any problems within the office or administratively

Assisting the PA to the MD with ad hoc jobs including errands, restaurant reservations and travel bookings

Assisting the Finance Manager with inputting information using Excel.

Assisting the Property Manager with inputting information onto the property log system.

Time keeping and reliability are imperative in this role.

Driving licence and own car is preferred but not essential.

Hours – 8.30am to 5.30pm

Salary - £19,000 - £22,000 dependant on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £22,000.00 per year
