We have a fantastic new Customer Service/Office Administrator role working for an entrepreneurial and expanding Bristol-based business.

The role

Reporting in the Sales Manager this is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with a positive outlook to become a key member of the Sales Support team. Working alongside two other direct team members the ideal person will be passionate about customer service and thrive in a team environment – it may suit a candidate looking to develop a career in this area or alternatively provide an opportunity for someone with significant customer service experience to join an established fast growing, independent company.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of excellent customer service for the company's consumer brands, ensure orders are processed quickly and efficiently and deliveries made on time. Duties will include:

  • Answering inbound customer and supplier calls
  • Accurate management of customer orders to ensure customer needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Supporting other departments during busy periods
  • Providing a key link between the Sales, Customer Service and Delivery teams to ensure excellent levels of customer service are maintained.
  • Liaising with courier services, trouble shotting where required.
  • Responsibility for the administration of any related paperwork.
  • Acting as brand ambassador at events such as RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Person Specification

  • Previous customer service or sales support experience.
  • Experience with MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook and preferable CRM/database experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, even when working under pressure.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to communicated with all levels of internal and external stakeholders and support functions.
  • A professional telephone manner.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and proactive mindset.
  • A flexible and hands on approach to working in a team.

Salary

£22,000 plus 25 days holiday, hours 9am – 5.30pm, 100% office based, pension, healthcare support and cycle to work scheme.
