Upwards Care Solutions are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our busy and expanding Head Office team based in Manchester. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to enhance their skills whilst developing new skills. We are looking for someone who has great attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, is a team player, willing to show initiative approach to work.
We require a part-time office administrator to join our busy team, however this position could lead to full-time.
Responsibilities
As Office Administrator you will be assisting with:
· Sourcing and recruiting staff via direct adverts
· Posting job adverts on external job boards
· candidate management including arranging interviews.
· Maintaining accurate and confidential records in relation to personnel information and documentation ensuring that starters and leavers are processed to meet both legislative and Company requirements.
· Fulfilling areas of safer recruitment and onboarding in the sector, including the request and follow up of references for all new employees.
· Communicating effectively with a range of people, either in person or on the telephone, promptly and in a professional and courteous manner whilst recognising barriers to communication.
· General administrative support
· Booking travel and accommodation
· Retrieving quotes, and stock ordering.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience
· Previous experience as an office administrator preferably in a social care sector.
· Ability to work well under pressure, on your own initiative and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
· Confident communication at all levels.
· Excellent computer literacy and numeracy skills.
· Reliable and punctual.
· Ability to work pro-actively to improve efficiency and timely onboarding of staff.
Hours and Pay
Hours: Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays 9am-5pm (22.5 hours per week)
Pay: £11 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
Salary: £11.00 per hour
