Job description
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop/office. Must have flooring sales experience.
- Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain office files and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Perform basic office management tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling appointments, for measures and fittings. Supporting director with managing of the weekly diary.
- Assist with customer support inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly and helpful manner
- Perform general clerical duties including answering the phone and taking messages.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a flooring shop/office or retail environment preferred.
- Proficiency in using office software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week
Salary: £10.00-£20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
