This is an excellent opportunity for a confident team player to take their first step in their career. You will gain valuable experience and a Digital Administration Support apprenticeship with innovative solicitors; DMD Law in Edinburgh.

DMD Law offers a range of legal services that are tailored to support their clients through both the good and not so good times. They are passionate about delivering a personal, first-class service. In this role, you will learn the skills needed to be successful in the role and become a valued member of the company. Their small, friendly team is the perfect environment to grow your skills and learn all about digital administration in an office!

DMD Law has supported numerous past apprentices and are committed to supporting the growth and development of their apprentices, many of which are still within the business.

In this role, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Preparing email and written correspondence for posting
  • Assisting with reception duties
    Indexing wills and title deeds on the digital file system
  • Filing both digitally and manually (to include record keeping, archiving files and arranging them to be sent to storage)
  • Assisting property manager on an ad hoc basis
  • Assisting with updating company website and social media channels

DMD Law are looking for a friendly, communicative individual who is keen to learn and develop. Full comprehensive training will be provided however the ability to communicate and use own initiative is something we are keen to see.

Desirable skills and personal qualities:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a friendly small team environment
  • Good organisational skills and a willingness to learn
  • Some experience with Microsoft Office (this will be included in training)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and independently

Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
