Office Administrator
Location: Sawston, Cambridge
Salary: £26,000 per year
Organised and motivated admininstrator needed for our Sawston office, where we supply music technology across the world

At PAXT, we grow international markets on behalf of some of the world’s leading professional audio brands. We are looking for a friendly and highly organised administrator to help with the international shipping function of our rapidly growing business.
Reporting into a senior member of the team, you will need to communicate clearly with customers, process new customer orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure they have all the necessary information to fulfil all out-going shipments. It’s a hands-on and friendly team and we want someone who will bring energy and commitment to the role.
Key Responsibilities
The core areas of responsibility within the role are:
- Processing customer orders on the computer and liaising with suppliers
- Obtaining freight quotes from forwarders
- Helping to prepare export documents
- Inputting digital Supplier Purchase Invoices
- General sales office admin duties as needed
Experience, attributes and skills
Your attitude, communication and organisational skills are key for this role. The main things we’re looking for include:
- Good attention to detail and a thorough, systematic approach to admin tasks
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Basic computer knowledge
- An exceptional telephone manner and knack for building rapport quickly
- Knowledge of SAGE is an advantage but training can be provided
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm and a can-do approach
