Origin Finance is a commercial finance brokerage based in Blisworth, Northampton that has been trading since 2019. We are an expanding team looking for an additional administrator to support the company through this period of growth and into the future. Origin are focused on finding the right people to fit into our dynamic and add value to the business.

We provide business finance to an array of companies from new start businesses to large blue-chip corporations. The founder of the business has worked in the industry for over 15 years and established Origin Finance with a view to creating a personable and transparent experience for UK business owners.

Due to the continued growth, Origin Finance are seeking an additional part-time administrator to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day admin tasks of the business, both independently and alongside the Office Manager, and full training will be given.

Their main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing financial proposals
  • Raising finance documents
  • Keeping up to date and accurate records
  • Checking and processing signed documentation
  • Answering the telephone, directing calls and taking messages
  • Preparing, sorting and sending post
  • Filing and scanning
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Exercise appropriate handling of private and confidential data

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience of working in an administration/office role
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Experience with Word and Excel preferred
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships
  • Friendly and professional manner
  • Polite, pleasant and helpful attitude
  • Conscientious and confident approach to duties
  • Enthusiastic and able to act with initiative
  • Ability to prioritise, be organised and efficient
  • Flexibility with the capacity to adapt to change, new practices and cope under pressure
