About the Trust

Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services. We provide a full range of services for residents of Sheffield and South Yorkshire as well as specialised services for patients from across the United Kingdom.

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Receiving telephone calls as first point of contact in Netcall.

· Reception duties including greeting patients.

· Checking and inputting demographics on S1.

· Booking’s appointments and sending appointment reminders

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written.

· Excellent organisational skills.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

· System knowledge of SystemOne, Netcall/Liberty and E-Roster. (Desirable)
