Clinical Administrator
Competitive salary - from £21,099 p/a dependent on experience
Location: Norfolk
Post: 37.5 hours, full time post.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing clinical team in Medequip’s Community Equipment Services (CES). We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Clinical Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support and assistance to prescribers, operational staff in the depot, and the community. Working with an OT, in our depot, you will use your administration skills to support best practice within the community equipment service and support developments in the service.

The Role
As an Clinical Administration Assistant, you will collaborate closely with prescribers, Occupational Therapists (OTs), managers, and colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment loan service and optimise the recycling of special equipment. The post holder is responsible for:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data management, report generation, and invoice processing.
- Support the smooth running of the equipment loan service by supporting with daily processing of new specialist equipment orders, repairs for specialist equipment, including ordering spare parts and manifesting delivery and repairs of these items.
- Support with ongoing and end of month reporting related to spend and savings through equipment recycling.
- Support organisation of familiarisation and demonstration and training days for prescribers.
- Support the depot OT with day-to-day administration tasks relevant to the role and development of the Clinical and Specials processes within the community equipment service.
