Job Title: Publishing Administration Assistant
Who are we?
Countrywide Publications is a leading family owned and run publishing house based on the Suffolk Coast. As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join us as a Publishing Administration Assistant. We send out more than 1,200,000 copies a year of our titles and have built our portfolio over the last 40 years working with businesses such as; Ford, Haven, Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Vauxhall, Rolex, Parkdean Resorts, JCB, National Trust and more!
Who are you?
The Publishing Administration Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes while also potentially helping to move forward our online presence. This multifaceted role requires a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual who can handle a variety of tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:
· Mailing List Management:
o Regularly update and maintain the company's mailing lists.
o Calling and emailing those on our lists to ensure accurate and up-to-date contact information.
o Segment mailing lists as needed for targeted marketing and communication initiatives.
o Seeking new customers to add to our already established lists.
· Distribution Organisation:
o Keeping our paper distribution organised by handling and organising our distribution teams.
o Organising payments
o Ensuring the newspapers reach their appropriate destination by collaborating with our distribution team.
· General Administration:
o Support day-to-day administrative tasks.
Potential for additional administration tasks if appropriate including, website management, updating content on our websites and social medias, tracking trending topics across multiple industries, and creating content, creating and sending e-newsletters via Mail Chimp.
While not mandatory, possessing these skills/qualifications may be advantageous:
· Experience in administrative support and social media management
· Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of image editing software.
· Previous experience in the publishing domain

· Usual working hours between Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a half an hour lunch. Some social media posting out of hours would be ideal.
