A new opportunity for a Merchandise Accounts Assistant has become available within our National Finance and Administration Department on an 18 month fixed term contract.

Your New Role
- Processing merchandise invoices and reconciling appropriate accounts
- Investing and resolving cost, quantity and postcode queries
- Raising credit/debit notces and associated correspondence
- Control ad reconcile duty payments to HMRC/Revenue Commission
- Raising invoices t suppliers relating to product returns and backhaul income
- Ensure the security of any documentation and electronic data in the area of responsibility
About You
- Relevant accounts experience
- Extensive purchase ledger experience
- Experience processing high volumes of invoices
- Experience of liaising with internal and external auditors when required
- Good working knowledge of goods in/goods out postings
- High attention to detail and ability to input data quickly and accurately
- Strong work ethic
- Organsised with the ablity to work under pressure, multi task and prioritise workload
- Self-motivated and works effectively with minimal supervision
- Takes personal responsibility for resolving queries and issues
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Clear communicator (both orally and written)
- Team player
What You'll Get In Return
- Starting salary from £34,690 rising to £40,510
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
