Job description

As a part time Office Administrator/Receptionist in a small firm of Chartered Accountants, you will be the welcoming face of our office and play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will be working in a supportive and friendly environment, with opportunities for growth and learning in the field of accounting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintaining and organising office documents and records
  • Using Microsoft Excel and Word to create, edit, and format documents
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

The role would be 3 days a week, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7 hours per day.

Skills and experience

  • Computer literacy with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanour
  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 21 per week

Salary: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Radlett, WD7 7AR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
