SysFix IT Support is a small business in Croydon. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to provide professional IT services to help small businesses succeed.

We are an IT Support business, providing a range of IT services to our clients. Based in East Croydon, right outside the station, we're well placed for quick access to multiple destinations.
We are looking for a part-time office admin assistant to aid in the day-to-day running of the business.
Duties include :
- Answering the telephone, taking messages and logging IT requests onto our IT Helpdesk system.
- Ensuring jobs on our helpdesk are resolved in a timely manner. We will look to shortly employ an IT apprentice for which you will part manage and ensure they are supported.
- Ensuring the office is tidy and organised, notifying the manager of anything that requires attention.
- Dealing with primary customer IT requests
These would include; Resetting user passwords, Setting up new users, and installing basic software. Full training will be given on this. * Assist in growing the business through content writing, blogging, social media, cold calling, mailouts, leaflet drops in the local area and attending networking events.
- Basic data input onto our accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Basic website changes as required (training given)
- Checking post
- Meeting clients at reception, receiving equipment and handing back.

- You should be proficient in Microsoft office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- You should be confident, and punctual with a drive to succeed.
- Ideally tech savvy with an interest in customer service, business and technology.
- Have attention to detail in that you ensure spelling is correct before sending emails to clients etc.
- Ideally located in Croydon or surrounding areas.
- Be flexible in regard to working hours. At the present time, we are still finalising working hours and days but we think it will be around 20 hours per week.
- English Grade C or Equivalent
- Ability to work on your own at times unaided.
This forms part of your role. Of course there will be other duties not listed here but training will be provided where necessary. What's more important is personality and a can do attitude.
You will be initially working alongside the director to put in place processes and learn the ropes. Once you have a feel for what we do, we'll look to take on a further staff member for which you will be their first point of contact. You'll be confident in pointing them in the right direction. You should have life experience in dealing with customer queries and general business duties.

Salary: From £11.95 per hour
