Job description

Switch Networks Ltd are a growing business based 3 miles outside of Malton. We are looking to appoint an Accounts/ Office Administrator on a part time basis for 16 hours per week.

As an Accounts/ Office Administrator the successful candidate will be required to work in a methodical, accurate and timely manner to process important information and documents.

Applicants for this role must be enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

Own transport will be necessary due to the office location.

As an Accounts/ Office Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing Contracts from templates
  • Inputting and processing invoices
  • Reconciling purchase invoices with customer sales invoices
  • Resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Credit control duties including monthly statements and reminders.
  • Stock control
  • Answering phones
  • Entering customer data on management system
  • General office duties

Location: Rural Office at Easthorpe, YO17 6QX
Hourly Rate: £11- £12ph depending on experience

The ideal candidate will enjoy working within a small team, be organised along with having a proactive attitude, strong communication skills and a keen interest to learn. Accounts experience preferred but not necessary. Common sense is the most important skill of all!
