Job description
Overall Objective:
Provides responsive and up to date administrative and communications support to the Admin Manager, all other Managers, employees, volunteers and members of Derbyshire Carers Association.
Main Responsibilities:
a. Man switchboard and reception.
b. Offer support where possible to general visitor enquiries
c. Answering telephone calls and managing correspondence as required using the CRM system (Charity Log).
d. Processing annual leave, including creating and issuing spreadsheets for the next financial year.
e. Record all incoming and outgoing post and take outgoing post to the post office. Distribution of incoming post (might be scanning to relevant people who don’t access the office regularly)
f. Recruit and manage reception and admin volunteers
g. Record compliments and complaints.
h. Taking cash and cheque donations to the bank, including counting collection tins.
i. Keeping asset register up to date.
j Support payroll and finance, uploading information onto Sage and purchase orders
j. Proactively working with others to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of services and systems.
k. Proactively identifying and acting to mitigate Health and Safety risks.
l. Demonstrating initiative and drive and taking personal responsibility to make things happen.
m. Administering specific short term projects.
n. Ordering of all items required – Sundries/IT equipment/Room Bookings for events etc
o. Administering Personnel files and information required/kept.
p. Positively engaging with and welcoming further training and development.
To undertake other reasonable duties associated to the role. In addition to your normal duties, due to the fact that DCA is a small organisation, you will be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Charity may reasonably require.

Salary: £14,672.00-£16,099.00 per year
