An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technician to work within the Older Person's mental health inpatient service, based at Tonna Hospital.
The successful candidate will support the Occupational Therapist in providing specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions to patients with complex organic and functional mental health conditions; Supporting individuals both on the ward environment and in facilitating safe hospital discharges.
The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, highly motivated with excellent communication skills. We therefore are seeking a dynamic, flexible and motivated Occupational Therapy Technician to join us in Swansea Bay University Health Board

The candidate will be required to work closely with MDT colleagues and would be supported by the wider Occupational Therapy Team. In this role, you will be actively encouraged to participate in quality improvement.

You will receive high quality supervision, support and training to further develop your skills and experience in a mental health setting as part of your continuous professional development.
