An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated and reliable Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join our friendly, patient centred team
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills in the assessment and treatment appropriate to a Band 4 level and undertake treatment plans as agreed with the Occupational Therapist.
To ensure patient flow and effective discharge, we provide a 7 day service, assessing, treating and discharging patients. The successful candidate will be included in the weekend rota, (one in four weekends)
Additional skills will see the post holder interacting with the public daily, interactions with relatives and other professionals.

Practical skills are required to monitor and maintain assessment equipment used by the Therapy Team. A high level of inter-professional working exists in the department benefiting the patients and all members of the MDT.
A flexible and adaptable approach is required to meet the needs of the service. NHS experience would be an advantage but is not essential
This post requires some weekend/bank holiday working.
