Job description
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can help patients engage in activity through Occupational Therapy treatment programmes during their hospital admission to enable them to be able to live their lives.
The Acute Occupational Therapy service are a supportive and welcoming service covering the speciality areas in Musgrove Park Hospital and the Somerset Neurological Rehabilitation Centre which areboth situated in Taunton. The post will be based within the medical team at Musgrove Park Hospital.
We have a mix of employees in static and rotational roles but have an ethic of both continuous improvement and development as part of this. Weare working to raise the profile and identity of the profession in this setting and across the organisation.
The acute team is part of the wider Occupational Therapy service and we are keen to establish communities of practice across organisationalboundaries to improve the cohesion and integration of the services we offer in Somerset.
