Job description

An opportunity for an experienced Acute Occupational Therapist (Surgical, Intensive Care and Medicine) providing clinical and operational leadership. You are required to be able to assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions and support the ongoing development of a team of Occupational Therapy Staff.

Main duties of the job:

  • To provide Clinical and Operational leadership.
  • To work with the Service lead, other Advanced Practitioners and the Multidisciplinary team.
  • To ensure quality, clinical effectiveness and patient safety.
  • To be actively involved in Service developments in line with local and national drivers and evidence bases practice.
  • To be involved in an active training programme.
