Job description
You must be able to deliver a very high standard of inpatient care, using excellent communication and rapport-building skills in supporting patients with mental health needs. In addition, you must be responsive to the patients needs and choices and uphold their right to be treated with dignity and respect. You must be able to provide activities to groups and individuals to meet their recovery needs. You will be given guidance and support to continuously reflect on, evaluate and develop the therapeutic activities offered on the ward.
You will ensure that all the therapeutic areas and the appropriate materials are prepared for use in the activities, continuously monitoring any potential for risk. You must be able to adopt a flexible approach to planning, organising and prioritising your workload. You would be part of a supportive and friendly Multi-disciplinary team. Your skills will be developed through Clinical Supervision and training opportunities.
