Cardiff and Vale UHB Occupational Therapy Band 6 Rotation
We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to join our expanding Band 6 rotation. This mixed rotation spans acute, rehabilitation and community, offering a range of experiences including medicine, surgery, vascular, acute neurosurgery, spinal, stroke and older persons rehabilitation services. Community rotations include Community Mental Health Team, Community Resource Team, Vale Local Authority plus the Posture and Mobility Service.
You will have the opportunity to work within a range of clinical services/settings and teams in hospital and community. You will deliver Occupational Therapy assessment/interventions in line with current guidance/evidence base. Induction/training and supervision will be available in each rotation and you will be encouraged to attend the Band 6 Development Forum, offering opportunities for networking plus focus on your development underpinned by the RCOT Pillars of Practice . Opportunities for development of supervisory skills will be available and engagement in service development/improvement projects and role promotion encouraged.
A seven-day service is delivered in some rotations.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
