Independently organise and manage a complex caseload. Select, administer and interpret appropriate specialist standardised assessments, in line with evidenced based practice. Apply evidence based practise, in order to treat and reduce dependence; incorporating goal planning, discharge planning, and specialist treatment intervention programmes that are patient centred. Complete, thorough neurological assessment identifying functional potential and barriers to discharge.
Clearly stating the impact of impairments , the environment and activities and participation Demonstrate a good understanding of the patients neurological condition and other co morbidities demonstrating an understanding of the implications of these when assessing and treatment planning Assess cognition using standardised screening tools and always in function Identify the impact of mood on participation and follow mood screening procedure to refer onto other services Assess and manage 24 hour postural management needs including the use of specialist seating and wheelchairs.
