About us

Our purpose is simple, to save lives at sea. Since the 19th century, our crews have been risking their lives to save those who are in danger of drowning.

We are looking for an Occupational Health Administrator to join our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team. This team supports the RNLI through the effective delivery of high-quality Occupational Health and Wellbeing services to our staff and volunteers.

Your Role

As an Occupational Health Administrator, you will be tasked with focus on the following areas:

  • Effectively manage telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries
  • Assist in the processing of health assessments
  • Process payments and purchase orders
  • Prioritise and manage your workloads in response to changes in demands on the service
  • Support the management of Occupational Health records

About You

You’ll be a proactive and highly organised team player, with a logical and pragmatic approach to problem solving. Along with this you will have a calm approach to busy workloads and challenging priorities. You will be a clear communicator that is comfortable working within the parameters of this specialist and confidential area, you will enjoy working with people at all levels, striving to deliver quality support to our people. To be considered for the role of Occupational Health Administrator you will need:

  • Extensive administration skills and be IT proficient (particularly with MSOffice applications and electronic records systems)
  • Proven experience within a busy and customer-focused administrative setting
  • Solid experience of delivering a commercially aware and customer-minded service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, confident and empathic approach to dealing with enquiries within the parameters of the service
