We are seeking a detail-oriented nutritionist to work with our Lexington Independents team. The nutritionist role sits within Elior’s CSR, Nutrition & Wellness team, within the wider Marketing Team.

As a Nutritionist you will have a keen interest in supporting children with food allergies, intolerances and medical conditions requiring a tailored menu such as Type 1 Diabetes.
The position will be based from either the Macclesfield or London office, there could be some travel involved but you will also have the option to work c 2-days from home.
Your key responsibilities as a nutritionist will consist of:
- Writing medical diet menus for children within our primary school and special educational need school sites.
- Working collaboratively with development chefs to develop medical diet recipes.
- Working with marketing to develop fact sheets, presentations and customer facing messaging around nutrition.
- Liaising with parents, health care professionals and schools regarding children requiring medical diets.
- Supporting the education dietitian to develop our wellbeing strategy, for example, contributing to projects such as menu coding to display nutritional benefits.
- Delivering support to operations teams within the division through email and phone support.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
Skills and Experience
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Dietitian include:
Key skills:
- Degree (BSc) in Nutrition
- Knowledge of food allergies and intolerances
- Experience using a menu management system desirable but not essential
- Ability to produce work with a high attention to detail whilst working under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to manage busy inboxes
- Ability to keep up to date with current research and relevant legislation
