Based in the busy West End of London, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a number Nursing Assistants to work across the Trust.
We want our patients to receive the best possible care from people for whom nothing is too much trouble. So, if you recognise yourself in the description above and it excites you to think you could be one of our team caring for our patients on a daily basis, we would love to hear from you.
You will be a compassionate, enthusiastic and confident individual, who is able to provide (following training) the highest standard of patient care, under supervision. You will need to be able to prioritise, work under pressure and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will need to be reliable, hardworking and trustworthy.
The haematology service at UCH has 98 inpatient acute haematology/BMT beds – split over 6 wards that work closely together. We are looking for individuals who are flexible as you may be moved to a different ward/ department at any time, during your working week.

We will offer you a structured Induction programme during which you will learn more about the Trust and your role. You will be required to complete the National Care Certificate in the first 3 months of employment.

You will be invited to attend an assessment Centre whereby you will undertake a number of activities including Numeracy and Literacy testing. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions on the day.
