A vacancy has arisen in the Special Care Baby Unit Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy for a Neonatal Health Care Support Worker Band 2
We are a Level 3 Neonatal Unit, consisting of 4 ITU, 2 High Dependency and 14 Special Care cots.
At present we have 6 qualified Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in post & 1 in training.
We are a forward thinking unit looking for an individual to join our team.
You must possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work within the team as well as on your own initiative.
You will be expected to deliver a high standard of care and use a holistic approach to family centred care.
Salary for this post will be pro rata for part time hours.
If successful in your application, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 (dependent on band) in Health and Social Care, approximately 9 months after taking up post. It is expected that you complete this qualification, which will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide you with more information once you are in post
A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
