An exciting opportunity has arisen for Nursing Assistants to work within the Schools Immunisation Team based in North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Assistant to work as part of the Schools Immunisation team within Ayrshire and Arran. The team work across the Three Health and Social Care Partnerships.
You will support the seamless delivery of the School vaccination programmes within educational establishments.
The post would involve undertaking a range of care activities associated with the delivery of school based immunisation programmes in support of and under the direction of the Children’s Immunisation Lead/ Team Co-ordinators.
Staff would observe and monitor the wellbeing of the children and young people involved in the immunisation programme pre and post immunisation, reporting any concerns they may have o the Immunisation Nurse.
Assist the Immunisation Team in the maintenance of all equipment and stock required to deliver the immunisation programmes

Excellent communication skills, a passion for working with children, ability to be flexible, able to work on own initiative and within a team are all essential qualities.
Full driving license and car owner essential.
Annualised hours – 27.64. Hours of work would be 0900-1500hrs term time with an annualised hours contract running from August – April every year. You would be off rota from April until August.
