Job Title: Nursing Assistant
Reports to: Band 6 Registered Nurse.
Location: Blackpool, Lancashire
Position Summary:
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing quality care to patients in under close supervision of registered nurse. The Nursing Assistant is also responsible for assisting in the coordination of services and supports to meet the needs of the residents. This position will work under the supervision of Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance to residents in performing basic tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding.
- Observes and provides residents with personal care and comfort measures that are necessary for them to perform work duties.
- Provides nursing care (i.e., treatment, prevention and/or rehabilitation) to meet patients’ specific needs.
- Assists in implementing resident care plans and plans to coordinate with other departments.
- Reports changes in resident condition or health status within assigned area to nursing staff, including emergency room personnel.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
- Minimum Of 6 Months experience working with the elderly in a nursing home/hospital environment is required. Must be able to follow the plan of care for residents in a timely manner and document it appropriately.
- Mandatory trainings will be provided.

Part-time hours: 48 per week
Salary: £11.50-£15.00 per hour
