Job description
The nursery nurse works as part of the Neonatal unit under the supervision of registered nurses and -:
- Participates in the delivery of care
- Contributes towards the department organisation
- Supports registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment for babies and their families
- To support Family Intergrated Care on The Neonatal Unit
- To assist and support in delivering care to infants and their carers in the transitional care and special care nurseries.
- demonstrates a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake specific tasks delegated by the nurse in charge and in accordance with relevant guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent.

- Central Middlesex Hospital: our planned care site, hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
