Nursery: Bright Horizons Dandelions Day Nursery and Preschool
Job: Full Time / Permement / 40 Hours
Salary: £22,048- £29,702 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Location: Andover/ Hampshire
We are currently offering a welcome bonus of up to £1,000 for this position (T's and C's apply)
We are looking for a full/part time, Level 3 qualified Practitioner to join our
Bright Horizons Dandelions Day Nursery and Preschool, situated just off of the A303 in Andover. This is great for those that live in local areas such as Durrington, Amesbury, Tidworth, Ludgershall and other surrounding areas. A 5 minute walk away from Costa. McDonalds is a 10 minute walk from the nursery too as well as a local garage. There is also a local bus that stops nearby to the nursery.
A 40 place nursery with a homely feel. We have an amazing natural large outdoor space with a recently refurbished baby/toddler garden for the children to explore as well as building on our Nature Nursery.

What you’ll be doing
- Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.
- Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning
- Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis
What we’re looking for
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
