Tops Days Nursery in Gillingham is seeking a unique Nursery Administrator to join our team, working on a full-time capacity.

Duties:
- Communicate with parents to collect outstanding payments and liaise with Head office
- Create new records and maintain existing children’s data and enter shift bookings and create batch weeks
- Print registers, meal lists, nappy and sleep records and pickup/drop off lists
- Record receipts and post to EYM and cash book and when necessary prepare paying in slips and bank twice weekly
- 2, 3 and 4 year old and 3rd party funding claims
- Support the manager with any administrative ad hoc duties such as photocopying, filing, distributing and sending post
- Keep up to date personnel records on file as personnel changes, leavers records and general staff paperwork and to pass on relevant information to admin at Head Office
- Ensure that the Manager is aware of any appointments in their diary/calendar
- To be committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery and your direct care
Minimum requirement:
- Have proven experience in a similar role, ideally in an office environment
- Be computer literate
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Have excellent customer service skills due to being the first point of contact for all visitors
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- Have experience with petty cash
- Need a clear and valid DBS – oversee applicants will need a clear and valid certificate of good conduct
