We have an exciting opportunity for an Emergency Nurse Practitioner/Allied Health Practitioner who has completed an accredited Management of Minor Injuries Course, or an experienced nurse with a passion for minor injuries to join the Minor Injuries team at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh.
The Minor Injuries Unit is closely affiliated with the RIE Emergency Department and has close connections to the Minor Injuries services at the Western General Hospital and St John’s Hospital.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced Minor Injuries Emergency Care Practitioner with Minor Injuries training at Level 10 or above, Clinical Decision Making and V300 Non Medical Independent Prescribing Qualifications. Minor Injury training is essential.
Practitioners will be expected to go on to complete the Clinical Decision Making Course and V300 Independent Prescribing Qualification.
