An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced individuals to join our skilled multidisciplinary teams to deliver urgent and unscheduled primary care to the population of Angus. Practitioners will be allocated to a base within one of four locality areas in Angus. Your base location will be confirmed at interview.
As an autonomous practitioner, you will be able to undertake a high level of clinical assessment in order to address urgent care needs. You will play a key role in the leadership and development of advanced nursing practice within the district nursing service and will participate in the delivery of high-quality evidence based and person-centred care.
Applicants should have or be working towards a post graduate diploma in advanced practice.
For trainee ANP posts you will be supported to meet advanced practice competencies. This will be supported by a triangulation approach of academic courses, mentorship and clinical supervision. Applicants for trainee posts should have demonstratable evidence of undertaking courses relevant to the advanced practice pathway and be able to demonstrate the ability to study at level 11.
Trainee ANP posts will be paid in accordance with Annex 21 Paragraph 2(i), starting at a Band 6 (salary of £37,831- £46,100) and progressing to Band 7 (salary of £46,244- £53,789) upon completion of the required qualifications and training.
Applicants are required to be registered on the UK NMC Register, with extensive post registration experience and will be able to demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and professional practice preferably in an unscheduled care or primary care setting.
