An excellent opportunity for an ambitious, dedicated, individual, to join our growing and well-known business focused on manufacturing and selling premium quality shortbread and biscuits. In this role, you will be assisting in the development of innovative products and the continuous improvement of existing products and ranges with a view of driving the successful growth of the Dean’s shortbread brand. You will work closely with retailers to identify new food trends and key gaps in the marketplace, designing innovative products to meet market trends and customer expectations. You will work within a cross-functional team, working collaboratively with Technical, Purchasing, Production and Account Managers to deliver projects that meet with the company strategy.
You should be able to demonstrate the following skills: -
Have a passion for food and a creative mind.
Demonstrate good baking skills with a strong understanding of food science in terms of how ingredients interact with each other.
Experience in developing biscuits, cakes, and other baked products.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an upbeat, professional manner.
Have an adaptable/flexible approach around the needs of the business.
