The Arthur South Day Procedure Unit is a fully integrated unit comprising of Surgical and Anaesthetic pre-assessment, theatres, recovery areas and wards. Our aim is to put patients first in an area of the highest quality of care. Alongside the nursing and medical teams, the administrative team ensures the unit runs smoothly, effectively and act as a reliable point of contact along a patient's pathway.
As part of this large and friendly team you'll be expected to maintain a high level of the patient-focused care we aim to deliver for our patients.
A high degree of organizational and time-management skills are required for this role.
Shifts are:
08:00 – 16:00

The role of the notes clerk is to locate and retrieve notes in preparation for nurse-led pre-assessment and anaesthetic assessment, day case and inpatient surgery. You will ensure the smooth running of the clinics and surgery by collating the lists in good time, highlighting any issues and carry out any additional duties which may occur in this busy unit.
You will also support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture.
