Job description
. This is a long term role based in a busy Operations Team of this international Bank, To ensure statements received from Nostro Agents/Internal Ledgers to reconcile EMEA cash accounts with other correspondent banks daily to ensure proper booking and identify discrepancies between our records and information received from other financial institutions for immediate follow up. To reconcile the 5 sub-ledgers to GL to ensure the GL balances are fully substantiated by the corresponding sub ledger balances, an important measure to ensure the integrity of the GL balances. To ensure investigations are dealt with within Nostro guidelines and timeframes. Proactively engages with both internal and external customers to build trusting relationships. To ensure prompt escalation of any production issues and follow through to ensure prompt remediation. Prompt escalation of any issues identified during UAT and follow through to remediation. Ensure bank policy and best practices are rigorously followed and adopted as part of the overall framework. Follows compliance procedures and completes tasks accurately. Attends compliance training and integrates learning and requirements into the day to day delivery of tasks, demonstrating an understanding of applicable risks and controls. LMA Recruitment
