Job description

UK Language Services & Translation (UKLST) is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Norwegian interpreter to assist with various interpreting assignments in the UK. The position is remote and open to applicants based in the UK only.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpreting services in various settings such as business meetings, medical appointments, and court proceedings
• Facilitate communication between Norwegian-speaking individuals and English-speaking individuals
• Accurately interpret spoken and written Norwegian to English and vice versa
• Ensure that the message and meaning are conveyed accurately
• Help to build and maintain positive relationships with clients

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
• Proven interpreting experience in a professional setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Must be based in the UK and available to work remotely
