EVP NCE > Region NCE > Service UK/Ireland
Operating within the Vestas Northern & Central Europe business unit, we focus exclusively on selling, constructing, and operating wind power plants in UK and Ireland. With main offices in Dublin, Edinburgh and Warrington, Service UK and Ireland is responsible for the service and maintenance of our customers' wind power plants in both markets.
Together with our colleagues throughout Vestas, we handle some of the largest operational projects, for some of the most complex customers in Europe.

Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for safety, procedures and displaying at service bases.
- Preparation of parts / kits for planned work, including printing documentation packs, according to planned service orders
- Inventory management - tools, parts availability, stock levels, transfer, consumables. Recording of said tools & equipment- usage, inspection, replacement, PAT testing, PPE etc. Ordering of various items such as nitrogen, work clothes etc. And supervising deliveries and coordination of transport
- Daily contact with Planners, Supervisors plus other departments as required
- Usage and management of lifting equipment, e.g handlift, forklift, hydraulic platform. Maintenance of the service base equipment, general maintenance and coordinate transport / vehicle maintenance in line with business processes and needs
- Filing and SAP input appropriate to the activities of the unit, such as delivery notes, invoices, order numbers, receiving dates, shipping dates etc.
Qualifications
- Working experience at warehouse or stock keeping work within smiliar industry, but we would expect you to be someone used to working in a complex and ever-changing environment
- Skilled with working in a larger organization, having exposure to a multi-cultural and international organisation would be ideal
- Skilled in Word, Excel and ideally SAP or other workload management system
- Full clean driving license
