North Indian chefJai MSK UK Limited, specialising in Indian cuisine, is seeking a skilled and experienced North Indian Chef to join our team in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a North Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic tandoori dishes, utilizing traditional cooking techniques and high-quality ingredients.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curry dishes with precision and artistry, adhering to Jai MSK UK LTD authentic recipes and standards. Ensure consistency and excellence in taste, presentation, and quality of all curry dishes.Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus, develop new recipes, and incorporate innovative culinary techniques. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely and accurate ordering of ingredients and supplies.Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and sanitation standards.Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, ensuring their adherence to JAI MSK UK LTD high culinary standards.Requirements:Proven experience as an Indian Curry Chef, preferably in a reputable restaurant or hotel.In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.Ability to create authentic and flavourful curry dishes, showcasing Punjabi specialties.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.A passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.Qualifications:Formal culinary training or relevant apprenticeship.Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Indian Curry Chef.Proven expertise in preparing a wide range of traditional and contemporary Indian curry dishes.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From £28,900.00 per yearBenefits:FlexitimeLanguage training providedUK visa sponsorshipSchedule:8 hour shiftEvery weekendFlexitimeOvertimeAbility to commute/relocate: Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Chef: 4 years (preferred)Cooking: 4 years (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: North Indian fees
